|GLOBAL EVENTS // RPG WEEK FOUR - WORLD WEEK 160|
It appears that the Doctor has mysteriously, for no reason, relocated everyone to the three new apartment buildings in Central City. They are a large improvement over the old apartment buildings which, really, had kind of started to smell. All belongings have been moved and the old building has vanished over night.
The apartment buildings are A, B, and C. Comment in the board of the appropriate building to 'move' your character or to 'move-in' with another character and the Doctor will update all concerned directories.
It also appears that both Cecil's clothing store and Central City Grocery are open for business.
Remember citizens, the Doctor's research is for the good of mankind. Supporting Project Zero and preventing the Doctor's vital, ground-breaking research is only for those who work against progress. Without progress, humanity will fall. We are in this together, for the good of the human race.
There are no global experiments this week.
Global experiments are experiments that affect the entire island population.
|DOCTOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS // RPG WEEK FOUR - WORLD WEEK 160|
The Doctor would like to note that the quality of role-playing has become a concern. In the application, each player put forward a role-playing sample that was intended to gauge playing ability. This sample is the sample by which your role-playing quality is judged and held accountable to. It is expected for current role-plays to reflect the quality present in the applications.
Two sentence comments logs are not something encouraged in Eldritch as the moderator is aware of the players' ability to construct much more complicated scenarios and worlds (judged by each individual's application). The intents of role-playing are to have fun while either honing skills or keeping already honed skills. It is expected that those goals are kept in mind.
50 words are the new posting limit. The Doctor will only comment/add random events to posts that have reached, in at least one post, 250 words. It is encouraged that each individual post is two paragraphs (a paragraph being defined as 3-9 sentences) in length.
Easy is fun but the fact is that you can all do better. The Doctor will start leaving warnings in posts where responses are less than three sentences. If the quality of role-play dips lower, the intentions of this role-play will be lost, and the Doctor may have to remove individuals from the island.
In other moderator information, a 'Getting Started' Pamphlet has been added to help those needing a little extra guidance. Also, the Quick Add/Remove has updated, so feel free to update your friends list.
